Snow Reflections

Are you someone who loves the snow?  Do you get excited when the meteorologist suggests that there might be snow in the forecast?  Do you feel a bit disappointed when it turns out that there wasn’t any snow or the snow ‘missed’ your area?

Obviously there are some places that get snow every winter and get so much of it that they are SICK of it before the winter is even officially started, but there are other places like where I come from that those of us who are snow lovers almost dream of living in a place where there is that much snow.

I’m one who can understand that snow is wonderful if you are adequately protected from it and definitely wouldn’t want to spend hours, days, weeks, months, or years dealing with it without that protection.  On the other hand, with adequate protection, I’m one who would gladly have snow from the first of October until the end of March each year.  My family doesn’t share my enthusiasm for it.

I go around singing “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow” and they pray that it doesn’t come.  I’m glad that God is in control.  🙂  And so are they!
